This evening we went to the Legoland fireworks and boy were they great.
We did the VIP experience & all the staff were awesome. We arrived at 5 where we were taken up to the room (in the Model Making Studio) we were first given our free VIP lanyard & pop badges, then taken upstairs where we were greeted by the rest of the staff & offered a drink of our choice. Then we were given our goody bags (picture below) and shown to our seats.
At 530, the buffet was opened and we got our food, I (mum) had the sausage casserole and it was delicious, Charlie had the Lego chips and Sausages (I had some chips too). We then got our dessert – choice of cakes and fruit
6pm the show stared and we had an awesome view, we were inside, so stayed nice and warm. You get a pair of 3D glasses each and when you put them on, the fireworks turn into Lego bricks (amazing!)
The company Legoland uses for their fireworks is Titanium Fireworks Ltd, the same company that does the London NYE fireworks, so they were bound to be great!
Once the show had ended, we got offered a hot drink of choice, Charlie’s hot chocolate looked great, he even had marshmallows and cream, I had a coffee too. We could stay in the room until 7, so we did that and then walked slowly back to our car (via the “Big Shop” in “The Beginning”) by the time we got back to our car, the traffic had died down a bit & only took about 15 minutes to get out of the car park. That’s the only downside of it, everyone leaving at the same time (but isn’t that with any big event you go to?)
Anyway, if you’re thinking of going next year, do it! If you are Merlin Annual Passholders (or Legoland passholders) you can get in free with your passes, but as these events do get busy, they dont 100% guarantee you entry, so you can get tickets for just £5, to find out how Click Here
