We visited Alton Towers on the weekend of June 22nd for a Merlin Annual Pass group take over of the Waterpark in the evening.
We arrived at around 3PM on the Saturday afternoon ready to check into our accommodation. We stayed in the one of the lodges in the Enchanted Village and it was awesome
It was so nice and quiet, we decided to have an little time relaxing in our room before heading off to dinner, as we normally don’t spend enough time just enjoying the rooms, we loved our little gifts we received
We then headed off to an early dinner in the Secret Garden which was yummy. I had the burger and Charlie had the Mac and Cheese (always a fave with him!)
We then went back to our room to get ready for the passholder water park event in the evening. On the way over to the water park, Charlie had his photo taken with these two, they were so much fun and made all the children that met them feel really special
We had so much fun that evening and both slept really well
The next morning we got up and went for breakfast in Flambo Jambo’s it was an all you can eat buffet and was yummy which set us up for the day, we were all packed up in the car ready, so headed into the park for a couple of hours.
Charlie really wanted to go on Wicker Man the Ride but unfortunately it was down all weekend, so he was a little disappointed, but we still got to go on a few other rides including Hex and The Runaway Mine Train
Lastly, we did 9 holes of the Extraordinary Golf before heading home
Here are a couple more photos of our weekend (one of them a very warn out Charlie on the way home!), hope you all have a great weekend this weekend, we have the school fete this Sunday
